Purpose Cycle 10, September 10 - October 7 "Life is already difficult -- without purpose it is agony." It has been said that when you find what you love to do you will never work another day of your life. There are as many different purposes as there are people. They vary in size and areas but all are equally important. The trouble starts when a person begins to confuse a noble goal with the pursuit of money, power, or recognition. We must respect the divinity of path and ourselves. When honestly done there is no concern about what others think about what we do. We can lie to ourselves and the world, but when we make others our "gods" by trying to impress them or compete with them, no matter how much glory or compensation we receive, it will never be enough. Do not let yourself get in the way of the way. If you are still searching for your special purpose first know that it is there, it is real, and it is never too late to start. It will almost without exception require your particular skills and talents. Many people take the abilities in which they excel for granted and instead go running towards some other "dream" that actually takes them away from their actual purpose and happiness. Your purpose will always aid the world in some fashion and will always take others into consideration as much as you. Any life not effulgent with purpose will merely be a shadow of life; no matter how decorously draped or extravagantly displayed. It will carry you forth through the most terrible of circumstances. Therefore begin now, begin right away. We have all been waiting for you. |
